Perched on a hilltop that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and a three-mile long white sand beach that is protected as a turtle refuge, Blue Spirit Lodge provides a nurturing and unforgettable experience. It is located in one of five Blue Zones in the world, an area where people live the longest and report the highest levels of well-being.

Blue Spirit Lodge offers a variety of lodging options. Rustic glamping in a platform tent will have you sleeping closest to nature. Stunning, luxurious private rooms with expansive ocean views will indulge all your senses. You can reserve a room all to yourself, share with a partner or a friend, or ask to be matched with a roommate.

Accommodations range in pricing based on type of room chosen, and whether occupancy is single or double.

*Price includes all meals, lodging, and yoga for 7 nights. It does not include airfare to Nosara, airport shuttle, spa treatments, additional excursions, or gratuities.

Ocean View - King or Twin Beds
The Ocean View double rooms have step-out balconies and beautiful ocean views. The rooms are tastefully furnished and provide the perfect space for one or two people. Each room has a king-sized bed or two twins, with a private bathroom with solar hot water and air conditioning.

Pacifico Cottage - Queen Bed
The Pacifico Cottages are tucked away amidst the lush tropical gardens and close enough to the sandy Pacific Beach so that the sound of the Ocean will rock you into sleep.  These beautiful and rustic new rooms feature a private porch with a hammock, one queen-size bed, an outdoor shower, and air conditioning

Nature Suites - King Bed or Twin Beds
Nature suites are cozy and located on a hillside overlooking the lush vegetation. They are simple and natural structures and have private bathrooms with an outdoor shower overlooking the jungle. Each suite also has a separate, enclosed, porch with a desk. The suites are a short walk up the hill to the main building. Great for sharing or seeking serenity.

Gourmet Vegetarian Cuisine

Your stay at Blue Spirit includes three delicious consciously prepared meals a day. All meals are gourmet vegetarian. A few times each week few serve fresh, locally caught fish. The daily lunch and dinner buffet includes a Pure Food Option, which offers greens, grains, and legumes without oils or seasonings. We purchase the food from local farmers and organic produce when available.

Blue Spirit Café

Guests rave about the food at the café. If you like to start your day with a healthy superfood smoothie, fresh coconut water or fresh vegetable juice, or prefer to indulge in an afternoon cappuccino with some raw food snacks or French pastries, the Blue Spirit café is your spot.

In the evening, guests like to mingle in the relaxing atmosphere while sipping excellent organic wines or refresh with a chilled local beer. All purchases at the café can be charged comfortably to your room folio.

Whether you forgot your sunscreen at home or wish to treat yourself or friends at home with a little gift from Costa Rica: the Blue Spirit Store offers women’s and men’s apparel, spiritual books and CDs, gift items and snack foods, as well as personal and sundry items. All purchases can be charged to your room folio and paid upon checkout with a credit card or cash.

Wireless Internet at Blue Spirit

Complimentary wireless service is available throughout the Main Building and all accommodations except for Eco-Cottages and Platform Tents. For your convenience as well, there is a single computer station located in the Lobby.

Saltwater Infinity Pool

The environmentally friendly saltwater pool located near the Main Building has views of the mountains and the jungle surrounding Blue Spirit. It has one-tenth the salinity of ocean water or one-third the salinity of human tears. You will enjoy the soft feel of the water, which is soothing to skin and hair and easier on eyes and noses than the water found in traditional chlorine pools.

Guiones Beach

Blue Spirit sits atop of a hillside overlooking a three-mile-long white sand beach along the Pacific Ocean. Guiones beach is home to a Turtle Refuge, which preserves the flora and fauna along the entire length; no building is permitted. 

The north and mid sections of Guiones beach offer great surfing to beginners and advanced alike. Blue Spirit is located at the quiet end of the beach, where swimming is easy, thanks to the gentle current. The 700 foot walk (220 meters) from Blue Spirit to the beach transverses lush grounds full of mango trees and coconut palms.
