This castle, with its private Georgian family-house ambiance, retains all its original features while being maintained to the highest standard, blending historic charm with modern comforts.
This retreat includes chef prepared daily breakfasts and dinners with an afternoon snack available. You’ll also enjoy daily yoga sessions in the Grand Ballroom and/or outside weather permitting. The yoga classes are suitable for all levels, and non-yoga participants will find plenty to love about this retreat as well!

Wedderburn Castle
The Wedderburn luxury castle castle was built in 1770 by renowned Scottish architect, Robert Adam, and provides the perfect backdrop to spend a week feeling like queen or king while enjoying the healing benefits of daily yoga.
The castle is set on 80 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and parkland. It's located an hour's drive east (and slightly south) from Edinburgh, and the charming market town of Duns is just over two miles away.
Wedderburn Castle is an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The stunning sandy beaches of the Berwickshire and North Northumberland coastline are just a stone’s throw away. Some other nearby highlights include the beach at Bamburgh with miles of pristine sands, the magnificent views from the cliff tops at St Abbs Head - a designated Nature Reserve and the breeding ground for thousands of seabirds and seals, and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, an overwhelmingly mystical place cut off from the mainland during high tide.
With an array of fabulous castles and historic houses to explore, plus an endless stream of lush green fields and forests, you will truly feel as though you've been whisked away to a mysterious and magical land.
Castle Rooms & Cottages
With each bedroom at Wedderburn Castle, you’ll be sleeping in style.
Every room is different and all have kept their original period features and fabulous views over the castle grounds and the rolling farms and woodland of Berwickshire.
All bedrooms have ensuite bathroom or private bathroom just down the hall. Bedrooms are supplied with bathrobes and luxurious thick towels, and each room oozes charm and character.
Please note that a UK king size bed is more equivalent to our queen size.

Garden Cottage - SOLD OUT!
The Garden Cottage is a stylish contemporary cottage situated within the grounds of the castle with historic features still in place.
Highlights of the cottage include a large stone fireplace with log burning stove, floor-to-ceiling windows, large HD digital TV, luxurious bathroom, large bedroom, well-equipped kitchen.
The historic cottage has recently been renovated in a contemporary style and offers the privacy and quiet of the countryside, along with being next to the main castle during our retreat.
The dining-kitchen is a bright room with French doors offering views across a spacious private lawn.Â
The bedroom has a king-size bed and a full height window framing views of Wedderburn Castle and across the countryside.Â
The Garden Cottage also has a spacious private walled garden that allows guests the option of relaxing in the fresh air.
**This cottage is a 10 min walk through the castle grounds to get to the main castle. You can also rent a bike during the retreat for $50 for the week to help get to and from.

Keeper's Cottage -Â SOLD OUT!
 Keeper’s Cottage is located in the Georgian stable block at the castle and combines traditional details with contemporary style.Â
Features include a spacious farmhouse-style dining-kitchen with a large table for meals, stone walls, fireplace with decorative range and a fully-equipped modern kitchen.
The sitting room has a stone fireplace with wood-burning stove, large flat-screen television and comfortable sofas for kicking back in front of the fire.Â
The first floor has two bedrooms: one double and another that can be used as a double or twin room. The double bedroom has an oak bed and en-suite bathroom with luxurious 1.8m bath and rain shower, limestone tiling and wooden floors. The second bedroom has a private bathroom with antique roll-top bath for long soaks after country walks in the surrounding area.

Travel Information
Getting to Wedderburn Castle
- Fly into Edinburgh Airport (EDI) which is an hour's drive away, or Glasgow Airport (GLA) which is a two hour drive from the castle.Â
- You will need to take a shuttle service; taxis & Ubers available to and from the airport. Â Information will be provided upon registration along with check in & check out times.

Payment & Refund Policy

Policy
If a participant chooses to forgo any services included the retreat package reservation, they do so of their own choice and are not entitled to a refund for the services not used. This includes meals, hotel accommodations, excursions, transportation, and any other package inclusions as listed on the retreat web page.
Payments
A deposit of $750 is required to reserve your reservation. This amount will be deducted from the total retreat cost. The remaining amount will be divided up into equal monthly payments. The last payment will be made by July 1, 2026. For your convenience, please save your credit card to our Stripe for easy monthly payments. (If you do not check the box when you check out "Store this card for future purchases", we will need to contact you to get your card information. Your monthly payments will be made on the same day of the month as when you put down your deposit.
If your room or cottage will be MULTIPLE OCCUPANCY (double, triple, etc.), each person will need to make their deposit. We will contact each person once all deposits have been made.Â
Refunds
We can issue refunds minus the deposit(s) amount ($750) and 12% processing fees before May 1, 2026. NO REFUNDS AFTER May 1, 2026.
Due to the arrangements made with the retreat destination, we can offer no exceptions on this policy.
Travel Insurance
It is HIGHLY recommended that you consider purchasing Travel Insurance. Purchasing travel insurance through companies like TRAVEL GUARD or TRAWICK protects your investment in case you need to cancel (including “cancel for any reason” coverage), as well as coverage for expenses incurred due  to weather & travel delays, personal property loss, and emergency medical services needed during your trip. Please review policies carefully to choose the coverage you need.
